There comes a time in a budding photographer’s life when the inevitable question gets asked…. Do you do weddings?
From what I have heard, many photographers duck for cover at even the inkling they get, when the question sounds like it might pop up in conversation. Something I admit to having done a few times over the past few years. I didn’t want to be held accountable for ruining a Brides perfect day, with some dodgy images.
Many months ago Luke & Rach approached me to see if I was interested in being their Wedding Photographer. They asked in a way that made me feel comfortable to say yes! They were my perfect, first wedding clients, hopefully I was theirs? They were both so laid back and casual in their wedding preparations it put me at ease. Not having to lose sleep over a ‘Bridezilla’ changing their mind daily, about what their “day” should be like. So long as it didn’t rain these two were happy. (I think if it did rain it wouldn’t have fazed them anyway)
Here is a just little teaser of their day. I shouldn’t really say little, as it comprises approx 4000 images that I took on the day. 99% of these are unedited, not that you could tell anyway. Vimeo’s compression has taken a fair bit of the shine of the image transitions. You still get the vibe of the perfect day for me as a Photographer!
More pics to come over the next few days.
Enjoy!

Who would have thought a Media Pass could provide so much fun?
Having the chance to step inside the barriers, shoot without obstruction, jump in a mini van to get around the course.
I loved it!
Thank-you to Wade at www.cyclingtipsblog.com for getting me the media access.
Thank-you to Veeral & James for giving me advice around the course and making the day fun.

I had an awesome day today. Traveled up to Buninyong near Ballarat to shoot the Herald Sun World Cycling Classic for Wade over at www.cyclingtipsblog.com A first for me today with a full access Media Bib. Mixing it up with some Pro Photogs like Graham Watson and Bettini. Veeral and James Broadway had the same access, so head over to their websites to check out their images too. So much better being inside the barriers not having to fight with eager spectators like me for a shot. Sorry about the Cancellara overload, I really am a Fan!
Anyway enough words, here are a heap of pics from the day.

On a miserable Melbourne Winters morning, I found one of the most perfect places to take photos. The Upstairs Master Bedroom.
Three gorgeous little girls and their parents were my subjects.
It wasn’t hard to convince the girls that jumping around on Mummy & Daddy’s bed, to be a good idea.
Here is just a little teaser.
More to come.
